About Murray Bros Nurseries and Garden Center
Murray Bros Nurseries and Garden Center is a garden center in Orchard Park, New York. It is listed at 4399 Transit Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127, which places it among the local businesses of Orchard Park that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Orchard Park, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in New York, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Orchard Park is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Orchard Park follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Good supply of mulch and other nursery stuff. Shrubs are good here too

Murray Bros stands behind their product and replaced two of my bushes that died within weeks of being planted. The new ones are doing great. Their fertilizer is possibly too good because I have some opportunistic weeds growing..recommendation: pay extra for a cloth weed barrier if they offer it (we put one in a bed we planted ourselves and have no issues with weeds there).

We were interested in updating the bed behind our rear porch. John Murray came out and put together a few recommendations and plans. We opted to purchase the plants and materials and do the work ourselves using one of John's plans. John Murray and his team exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Murray Brothers Nursery for any project, large or small.

Murray’s has great selection, a wide variety of annuals, perennials,!trees and shrubs. However; they greatly lack customer service. Their on site staff would rather eat their chicken finger subs and ensure they close “on time” rather than cater to the consumer. At this price (double your out the door price plus 20%) , one would hope staff would accommodate. Despite this, they close 30 minutes before their posted times, have rude and abrasive staff - seemingly impaired - manage their gates. Once willing to bite the bullet and support local business, this establishment no longer commands the respect it demands. Gullo’s or other nurseries in the area are far better suited to accommodate your needs. As an East Aurora resident for decades it is unfortunate to provide this review. Nonetheless, obviously intoxicated staff purporting to tend to patrons needs cannot be overlooked. Spend your dollars elsewhere.

This is one of my favorite local nurseries. The variety of healthy plants is what sets them a part. Annuals, perennials, vegetables, bushes and trees are available. The staff is very friendly. Pricing is reasonable. They prioritize their plants rather than having too big of a store with gnomes in it.
